City of Oakland, NE Planning Commission Meeting June 4th , 2024, Proceedings A meeting of the Oakland Planning Commission was held on June 4th, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. In the Rosen Room of the City Auditorium. The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Todd Cull. Planning commissioners in attendance were Darla Nelson, Dan Tanksley III, and Matt Johnson. Excused: Jacob Schieffer and Jordan Swenson. A quorum was established. Also, in attendance were Zoning Administrator Kayla Eisenmenger, Property Owners Chad and Elizabeth Linder, Three River’s Housing representative; Kelly Adamson, Milestone Surveyor; Nick Seery, and JEO Consultant Isaac Kreikemeier. 1) At 6:35 pm Member Johnson made a motion to waive the three readings of the minutes of May 7th, 2024, minutes and to approve. Member Tanksley III seconded the motion. All planning commissioners present voted Aye. 2) At 6:35 pm Member Tanksley III made a motion to open the public hearing. A motion was seconded by Member Nelson. All planning commissioners present voted Aye. Public discussion on Final Plat for the property generally located north of E 3rd Street between N Aurora Avenue and Jan Scheree Drive. At 6:39 pm Member Johnson made a motion to close the public hearing. Motion seconded by Member Nelson. All planning commissioners present voted Aye. At 6:39 pm Member Johnson made a motion to approve Final Plat for the property generally located north of E 3rd Street between N Aurora Avenue and Jan Scheree Drive for Johnson Subdivision. Motion was seconded by Member Nelson. All planning commissioners present voted Aye. 3) At 6:40pm Chairperson Cull made a motion to open the public meeting for Replat of L9-13 and N 2L14, Block 17, Oakland Addition, Oakland NE and L15-16 and S2 L14, Block 17, Oakland Addition, Oakland NE to replat 1 of Block 17, Original Town of Oakland. Motion was seconded by Member Nelson. All planning commissioners present voted Aye. At 6:51pm Member Nelson made a motion to close public hearing. Motion was seconded by Member Johnson. All planning commissioners present voted, Aye. Motion was made by Member Johnson to approve the Replat of L9-13 and N 2L14, Block 17, Oakland Addition, Oakland NE and L15-16 and S2 L14, Block 17, Oakland Addition, Oakland NE to replat 1 of Block 17, Original Town of Oakland. Motion was seconded by Member Tanksley III. All planning commissioners present voted, Aye. 4) At 6:52pm Chairperson Cull made a motion to open public hearing. Motion seconded by Member Nelson. All planning commissioners present voted, Aye. Public Hearing for Conditional Use Permit for Lot 16 and S 2L 15 Block 4, Oakland Addition, Oakland, NE. Commonly known as 200 East Fourth St Meeting adjourned at 6:39 p.m. Motion was made by Member Johnson and seconded by Member Schieffer. All planning commissioners present voted Aye. At 6:56pm Member Johnson made a motion to close the public hearing. Motion was seconded by Member Nelson. All planning commissioners present voted, Aye. At 6:56pm motion was made by Member Nelson to approve Conditional Use Permit for Lot 16 and S 2L 15 Block 4, Oakland Addition, Oakland, NE. Commonly known as 200 East Fourth St. Motion was seconded by Chairperson Cull.
