The City of Oakland, Nebraska, is currently accepting proposals from qualified persons to haul trash from the City’s trash compactor to a landfill (Coalition Landfill / Northeast Nebraska Solid Waste Coalition (NNSWC) located near Clarkson, Nebraska). Qualified and interested persons must submit sealed proposals to the office of the City Clerk, 401 N. Oakland Ave., Oakland, Nebraska 68045, by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. Proposals are tentatively scheduled for discussion and award during the regular City Council meeting scheduled in July 2024. Responsive proposals must include costs and all other material terms and conditions of service.
