The Board of Education of the Lyons-Decatur School District No. 20 met in a special session, the 2025-2026 tax request resolution hearing, on Monday, September 8, 2025, in the media center. Present were Archer, Bacon, Brehmer, Christiansen, Miller, Myers, Petersen, Troutman, and Vlach. The open meetings act rules are posted on the wall of the media center. President Christiansen opened the duly publicized 2025-2026 tax request hearing at 7:31 p.m. The hearing was called for the purpose of hearing support, opposition, criticism, suggestions, or observations of taxpayers relating to setting the final tax request for the 2025-2026 school year.
