SECTION 00 10 00 INVITATION TO BID Sealed Proposals for the construction of “2024 Craig Street Improvements, CDBG Phase II, CDBG Project No. 22-PW-011 for the village of Craig, Nebraska,” JEO Project No. 221144.00, QuestCDN No. 9586423, will be received by the village clerk at 196 N Main Street, PO Box 85, Craig, NE 68019, until 2:00 PM on the 29th day of April 2025, and thereafter will be read aloud. The work is generally described as follows: 4 blocks of removal of existing asphalt streets them repaving with 6” full depth asphalt, approximately 1200 tons of asphalt. Necessary subgrade preparation on all 4 blocks, and building concrete curb and gutter, approximately 1300 LF, along Nebraska Street. Opinion of Probable Cost $423,000 Proposals will be taken for said construction work listed above by unit prices, as an aggregate bid for the entire project. All Proposals for said construction work must be made on blanks furnished by the Engineer and must be accompanied by Bid Security of not less than 5% of the amount bid. Bid Security to be made payable to the Treasurer of the village of Craig as liquidated damages in case the bid is accepted and the bidder neglects or refuses, to enter into contract and furnish bond in accordance herewith.
