Oakland Heights Board of Directors Monthly Meeting April 15, 2026 The Oakland Heights Board of Directors met in open and public session in the Oakland Heights Conference Room. The meeting was called to order by President Judy Schernikau at 8:40AM. Advance notice of the meeting was made thereof by posting in three places, one of the designated methods of giving advance notice. A quorum was established with the presence of Elisabeth Linder and Daniel Tanksley jr. Also present was Administrator Tami Klinedinst and Director of Nursing Roxanne Lundquist. Minutes of March 18,2026 monthly meeting were approved as distributed. Administrator Tami was asked to present and lead discussion for agenda items for today. OLD BUSINESS QAPI review will be done with Department Heads and Administration during an afternoon planning session. NEW BUSINESS Project updates required no further action by the Board at this time. No executive session discussion is needed. New pharmacy services providers will be chosen before current contracts expire. COVID O positive staff or residents this month for skilled care or assisted living facilities. Oakland Heights is a 5 STAR facility with 36 residents in Skilled facility and 20 residents in assisted living. QAPI; Quality measures and processes are the main focus; Falls, Hospitalization and rehospitalizations; Uti, fit testing for masks, Continuing education and staff solutions meetings when needed. Resident tobacco smoke habits and staff smoke habits and the effect these habits have on all residents, are a concern of this Board and management. HELP WANTED RN LPN CNA needed in all shifts Incident summaries were reviewed, financials distributed and warrants submitted for payment. A motion was offered by Dan Tanksley jr with a second from Elisabeth Linder to pay warrants as submitted . On roll call all ayes no nays motion carried.
