At 7:23pm Council President Anderson made a motion to approve Water System Improvement "Work Change Directive No. 7" - pertaining to A coating system for copper pipe that was installed in the chlorine room. At 7:23pm Council Member Swenson made a motion to approve Water System Improvement "Work Change Order No. 1 Maguire Iron - pertaining to Contract between City of Oakland and Maguire Iron, Inc. to be amended to include the addition of Oakland-Craig Public Schools as a party to the contract only for the purposes relating to the land where the existing water storage tower is located shown in the drawings on Sheet C1.1. City of Oakland shall remain responsible for all terms in the existing contract related to “Owner.” Oakland- Craig Public Schools shall be a party to the project in order to be listed as an additional insured on the Contractor’s insurance certificate pertaining to work for the demolition of the existing water tower shown on Sheet C1.1.
